Your design matters way less than you think

You might think that your name, your logo, your website design and everything else that goes into your brand design is absolutely critical to your business success.

Eventually, a lot of that stuff will be.

However, when you’re starting something new, the branding design is often more about wanting to visualise something to make it seem more real rather than actually adding huge value to your idea.

Each small detail feels important because

1) It feels tangible and you can see the progress, and;

2) It feels like a representation of you personally

However, you can have a business with a silly name and a bad logo but you can’t have a business without actually getting stuff done.

Commit to actual progress, not just visual progress, and leave your ego at the door.
