“I’ll do it when something else is ready”
“I’ll do it when we start the new year”
“I’ll do it when I’ve got more time”
“I’ll do it when I’ve finished something else”
We get used to putting things off because it’s a natural part of prioritization.
But, if you are putting something off, ask yourself why.
Is it really just not a priority, or is it important (and difficult) and you don’t want to do it yet.
Instead of saying “I’ll do it when…”, ask yourself why can’t you say “I’ll do it today”?
