Finding your voice

When you see something that works, the instinct is to copy it.

Sometimes you don’t even know that you’re copying and it’s happening subconsciously under the surface.

Maybe you’re combining things together and forming a kind of uniqueness that comes from that unique blend.

However, sometimes you read something, see something or hear something and you know it was from a specific person.

In these moments, whatever it is sticks with you because it stands out.

Its memorability is enhanced by its uniqueness.

Finding your voice, defining your style or distinguishing your mark are all possible.

It just takes time and practice.

Copying is easier, and it’s a great starting point, but the goal should be to find what makes you unique.
