Don’t offer me the upsell when I’m choosing the product or receiving the service.

Don’t offer me the upsell when I arrive to the cashier.

Wait until I reach for my wallet.

At this point, when you offer me a great deal, I have to make a decision, I’ve already committed to giving you my money anyway, and I don’t have time to think about it.
