If you really want to do a good job, charge the right price. When you’re underpaid, you just want the job to be done. You view extra work like it’s outside of the scope and your commitment level drops.
If you are well paid, the extra work is just another part of the job. You feel like you need to go above and beyond for the client because you’re getting properly reimbursed.
If you really want to commit to a job and do your absolute best but you are undercharging, you owe it to your clients to charge them more.
